Tried out an ambush scenario at 1500 to 2250.
Not the most interesting of games as the dark elves overran everything through a combination of fear, terror and masses of wounds from witch elves. Close quarters and high speed just gave the dwarfs no time to organize any response.

A close up of the battle in the previous image. The dwarfs are about to have the battle standard bearer killed in a challenge, lose combat by 6 and get run down.

Re: Game for that Dark Conspiracy Campaign
Mostly the first book (it's the guild expedition list from the back if you're wondering why there are so many gyrocopters), but with a few of the more appealing things grabbed from the second (I think just engineer upgrades for war machines in this case, but sometimes also runes).

An epic battle with gorgeous models!
A very epic battle, and a new grudge has been written in the Book.
