I decided to work on my Beasts of Chaos and I have the Minotaur's with Two Hand Weapons that I am working on. Those hand weapons have little lead divots that act as pins. Do they actually work or do I need to do my own pins? The Minotaurs are the ones in the link:

I just glued mine and I've only had one breakage incident which was the result of being dropped. There's not much to pin in there, though...

Well you are right about one side of the arm. That is the cavity itself on the weapon part of the arm, and there is not much lead to work with. I was wondering if I filed down the nub on the body side of the arm and drilled a new pin there if it would make a difference.
Having said all of that, good to know that they are that durable.

I think it all has to do with using the correct glue. I've become a really big fan of this Tamiya putty that bonds to literally everything you put it on.

Interesting. Might have to look that up, but you may have to show me what you are talking about. I just tried to look it up and could not find what you were referring to.

I double checked my putty and it looks like it is a plastic putty exclusively, but it may be possible to use it to adhere pewter to Pewter or pewter plastic. I'll have to see if I can find a test project to squeeze it out on, and if it works then I'll post a picture of the putty tube so you can look it up yourself.

One guy suggested to use a tiny ball of green stuff and superglue. Sounds like an interesting idea. Normally you want the Pin for the added surface area and structural integrety. However, I am not seeing a whole lot of people say that Pinning is a requirement on those models with the nubs. Heardstone is now defunct, so I can't ask anyone there.
